Grain roller crusher

The grain crusher is an agricultural machine that’s indispensable on every farm, but it can be used in other areas as well. It is successfully used in other branches of agriculture, for example in fish farming and horse breeding. As the name suggests, the crusher is designed to crush grains, but more importantly it also allows the flaking of all types of grain and leguminous plants (wheat, corn, peas, flax, etc.) used in the production of nutritive feed for breeding various types of animals. Grain crushing ensures high feed absorption. The lower temperature generated in the crusher during the crushing process also prevents the loss of the nutrients that the animals require.

A particular advantage of Adraf crushers is that only a small, practically negligible amount of meal dust is produced during the process, which is of great importance to some users. The excessive dust generation seen in other machines has been significantly reduced in our crushers, which further evidences that Adraf machines are the best possible choice.
The machine is equipped with two grooved, thick-walled rollers (with a width of 100 mm or 300 mm, depending on the model), ensuring high performance and durability. If the grooves wear out after many years of operation, just re-machine them and the crusher will be like new. The gap between the rollers can be adjusted by means of a screw tensioner, which allows you to perfectly adjust the thickness of the feed based on your needs. When working with damp material, the crusher is equipped with so called scrapers whose task is to clean the rollers and thus prevent sticking of wet grain etc., which would otherwise hamper the proper performance of the crusher.

In order to protect the machines from the intake of metal components that could pose a danger to animals and the crusher itself, Adraf crushers are equipped with several magnets, whose task is to catch even the smallest metal particles. To facilitate the work, our crusher can be combined with an auxiliary screw pusher (also manufactured by Adraf), ensuring full automation of the process.

If your farm doesn’t require processing large amounts of feed, a type Z01/0 crusher with a 3 kW motor will be the right choice. However, if you’re looking for higher performance, the Z01/1 model with a 7.5 kW motor and single roller drive or the Z01/2 model with a dual roller drive, also with a 7.5 kW motor, are sure to meet your needs.
